Privacy Policy

RAVKIT handles minors' academic records and families' payment details. This policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect on behalf of institutes, how we use it and how it is protected.

Who this policy is for

RAVKIT is provided by RAVKIT Private Limited to coaching institutes. The institute is the owner of the student, fee and academic data held in the product. RAVKIT processes that data on the institute's behalf to run the toolkit: solving doubts, tracking assignments, generating learning plans and managing fees.

Students and parents whose data appears in RAVKIT should direct requests about their information to their institute, which controls that data.

What we collect

We collect only what the toolkit needs to function. This includes student records created by the institute, doubts submitted and their resolutions, assignment submissions and grades, quiz performance used to build learning plans, attendance where the institute records it, and fee schedules and payment status.

For the people who sign up on this website, we collect the name, email, institute name and student strength submitted through our sign up and contact forms so we can create an account and respond.

How we use it

Data is used to deliver the features of the kit and nothing unrelated. Doubt history and assignment results feed a student's learning plan. Fee data drives reminders and defaulter flagging. Aggregate figures produce the institute analytics shown to owners and staff.

We do not sell data, and we do not use a student's academic records to train models for other institutes.

Grounding of AI answers

Doubt solving is grounded in the material an institute uploads and the answers its teachers have given. Answers are generated to stay consistent with how that institute teaches, and doubts are logged against the student so the plan stays accurate.

Access and roles

Access is scoped by role. Owners, teachers and administrators each see only the information their role requires. Access to a student's kit is limited to the staff of the institute that owns it.

Protection

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using current, standard methods. Access to production systems is limited to personnel who need it to operate and support the service.

Retention

Data is retained while an institute is active and for a defined window afterward, as set out in the institute's agreement. On a valid deletion request, data is removed within the timeframe stated there.

Contacting us

Questions about this policy can be raised through the contact page. Institutes with a signed agreement should use the support channel named in that agreement.
